THE SCHOOL

Introduction

Hi! We are four students of Casa Nostra school and now we’re going to talk about our school.
This is the school that our parents chose for us 15 years ago. They wanted to prepare their
child for the day of tomorrow, so they enrolled us here with the purpose to help us to define
ourselves as a person and be prepared for our future.

51 years ago our school was created by Magdalena Aulina with the objective to create a
space where everyone would be welcomed. And that’s why our school is called Casa Nostra.
Casa Nostra is the second house of everyone. It was also created for the people who worked
in a factory called “Les Saques” because they needed a nursery school to leave their sons
and daughters.

What do you have for lunch at school?

A catering brings us the food every day so we can eat in the school canteen. Each month they prepare an equilibrated diet for us.

What sports do you play?

Since we were children, we have been able to play a lot of different sports like wall climbing, go swimming, go riding, archery... At primary school we could also play basketball or go horse riding as after school activities.

Does the school have a logo? What is it like?

Yes, we have. Last year we celebrated the 50th anniversary they designed a new one which is an improvement of the old one. The logo is everywhere: in our uniforms, in our papers, in the school walls...

What are your favourite things about school?

What we like about this school is that they teach us a high level in each subject which means that they are strict and that they prepare us in a good way for our future studies, like in university.

We also like that they take part of projects that let us use our knowledge from different fields, develop our creativity, work with new technologies and cooperate with different people because they are a good tool to show us what are we going to find in our near future.

The best thing about it is that since we were one-year children, they teach us some of the most important values like to be well behaved, to solve problems for ourselves, the importance of communicating and to respect and help the others.

Each teacher of our school is a professional on its work so they are well prepared. They love their job and they transmit it to us. We all agree that they are friendly and that they help us solve every problem we have.
